Universiade volunteers receive their kit

The entry to the Ice Competitions of the Universiade will be free with an invitation until seating capacity is reached. In Sierra Nevada, the access will be free for skiers with forfeit. Besides there will be 300 tickets at no cost for non-skiers.

The newly declared World sub-champion in half pipe, Queralt Castellet, will be present in the Sierra Nevada event.

Uggi, the Universiade mascot, led the downhill in Sierra Nevada where all different delegations participating in the Winter Universiade Granada 2015 carried their flags to celebrate the "World Snow Day".

The Winter Universiade Granada 2015 medals and official apps for mobiles have been launched. The debut took place in the Congress and Exhibition Centre before Antonio Granados, Councilor of the Sports Area, Sandra García, Government Delegate, and the CEO of the Universiade, Ignacio Pipó.

78 athletes will represent Spain in the Universiade, 64 of which will compete in ice disciplines and 14 in snow. We can highlight the presence of Queralt Castellet, world sub champion of Half Pipe and the Free Style couple Sara Hurtado y Adrián Díaz, one of the revelations in the Sochi Olympic Games.

The Sports Area of the Granada City Council presented the awards for the IV edition of the sports drawing contest. This year the Winter Universiade Granada 2015 has been the leitmotiv.
