Requirements for volunteering
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 18 years of age in February 2015.
- Be available during the celebration of the Universiade (between 1st and 15th February 2015).

- People from other provinces
Due to financial constraints, both transportation to Granada and housing accommodation during the days of the event will be paid by the interested parties. However, the Organizing Committee will try to get you in touch with volunteers from our city.
- Availability
It is vitally important that volunteers be available * February 1-15, 2015 and some days before in different functional areas.
Also, note that volunteers with immediate availability can participate in various activities and sports, cultural and social to be held in 2013 and 2014.
*Working hours will be 6-8 hours, including breaks / refreshments.
- Language Proficiency
Being an international event, most jobs require usage of languages other than Spanish (especially English), a determining factor for selection. Regardless, there are events that do not require a foreign language.
- Level of skiing / snowboarding
Despite being a winter event and several sports take place in the snow; there are a number of functions that do not require the use of skis or snowboard, so it will only be a factor in specific sport venues.

Due to the large number of requests we are receiving, the selection process will take months. Candidates with immediate availability for events in 2013 and 2014 are the first to be interviewed.

Areas:
Candidates will communicate which area they prefer and we will try to respect that interest when allocating the jobs, which is not always possible. We cannot forget that this is a phase selection among a large number of profiles and assigned those functions by assessing the availability, experience or skills.

- What will get out volunteering?
Prospective volunteers will receive by the Organizing Committee supplies during working hours, accreditation, certification of their volunteer work and special clothing. In addition, during the years prior to the event you will have access to various activities and events.
