I would have loved to participate in a Universiade
Carolina Ruiz, brought up in Granada, is at the moment the most important ski athlete in Spain. Her specialty are Super Giant and Downhill. She has represented Spain in several Olympic Games and World Championships. She secured her fist World Cup Victory in Méribel (France) setting an important milestone.
I fully identify myself with the Universiade values and I hope to help to its promotion
This motorbike rider from Granada is a good example of overcoming and constancy. He is able to transmit calm in stressful situations, as he has showed in the 8 races of the Dakar Rally where he has taken part.
He combines high sport with his work as hunting pilot of the Spanish Air Forces. Besides, he is strongly committed to Granada 2015.
The Universiade is a great opportunity for Granada
The Granada-born skier María José Rienda has grown up in Sierra Nevada. Although she is retired from high competition, she is the Spanish athlete obtaining more Ski World Cup Victories. She rose the podium in six times and, along with the Fernandez Ochoa family, placed Spain in the map of winter sports.
